Fall Play Cast Takes 1st Place at State One Act Competition

The cast of our fall play, Somewhere In France Is a Lily, competed in the GISA State One Act Play competition in November and won first place, bringing home the first-ever AGS Varsity first place trophy. The play was written specifically for Atlanta Girls’ School by playwright Kate Guyton and is being published in 2018 by Heuer Publishing.

I am so grateful for my experience with Ms. Uterhardt through the AGS arts program. I am a better student, performer, and teacher because of my time in drama class, Category 5, the fall play, and the spring musical. I was totally prepared to participate in theatre in college, and I continue to work as a teacher for young performers programs!
