Holiday Party for Teachers – Volunteers Needed!
Each year we host a holiday gathering to show our appreciation to the AGS Faculty and Staff, complete with gift cards, cookies and afternoon nibbles. This year’s party is on Friday, December 13, 3:15 – 4:30 p.m. If you are interested in leading the effort – please contact Susie Davis directly.
Tasks include the following:
- $25 Gift Cards for Teachers: Each year before the winter holidays, the parents offer each AGS teacher a $25 gift card. We try to offer a variety of cards, and we need one parent to orchestrate the sign up for this as well as the “Gift Card trees” displayed at the party. We have a sign-up from last year to work from.
- Cookie Swap: During the Holiday Party for teachers, there is also a cookie swap. We need one parent volunteer to again monitor and organize these donations.
- Simple Decor for the afternoon in the MS Dining Hall. Susie can share what has been done in the past.
- Other food and drink for the afternoon – not heavy, but teachers like to have a little something besides cookies. We do have a budget for this. We want to work with a caterer.
