AGS College Counselor Visits NYU Abu Dhabi Campus

College counselor Jessica Vaccaro visited New York University Abu Dhabi, an American university located in the United Arab Emirates, last week. Jessica was one of thirty-four counselors from around the country (the only counselor from Georgia and one of four from an all-girls’ school) hosted by NYU Abu Dhabi to our the campus, meet students, faculty, and administration, and explore Abu Dhabi.
NYU Abu Dhabi consists of a highly selective liberal arts and science college (including engineering), and a world center for advanced research and scholarship—all fully integrated with each other and connected to NYU in New York. Together, NYU’s campuses in New York, Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai form the backbone of a unique global network university, with faculty and students from each campus spending “semesters away” at one or more of the numerous study-abroad sites NYU maintains on six continents.
Given AGS’s global mission and extensive Upper School Global Travel Programs, Jessica is excited that NYUAD could be a wonderful option for our girls who consider it a good fit.
