What is considered to be newsworthy?

The audience for the newsletter is the entire current AGS community: parents, students, faculty, staff, and the board of trustees.

A noteworthy student achievement or honor; information about a program or offering; something that AGS was involved with out in the community; a schoolwide recognition or accomplishment; volunteer opportunities for parents; anything that you’d want to submit to the local newspapers, etc. 

Newsletter and Calendar Submission Form

Please fill out the form below no later than 12:00pm on THURSDAY to request that your news, event, or information be included on the AGS website or in the Week Ahead at AGS Newsletter. Late submissions will not be included.

Please double check that your COMMUNICATION METHOD and CATEGORY are correct. Your submission will go through an approval process before being posted on the website. New info will be posted on Fridays of each week.

  • Title of the announcement or news piece.
  • A short synopsis, please. This will be displayed on the News page and as a teaser in the weekly newsletter.
  • Include the full URL of all hyperlinks within the body of your announcement. This is where the full message goes.
  • Image that will be shown on the News page. Accepted file types: jpg, gif, png.
