Dear Families, Friends, Alumnae and the greater AGS community,

Atlanta Girls’ School believes in the limitless potential of girls. Your support inspires a community of learners where girls grow and develop into confident young women. Rachel Platt (C’16) and Natalie Wilkinson (C’16).

By the time our students graduate, they know their strengths. They have the ability to lead and work with others. They learn to balance their independence and willingness to take risks with compassion, honesty, and integrity. They are globally aware and understand and respect other cultures. They give back to their communities and project personal confidence and competence in all they do. Most of all, they become young women of deep integrity, grateful for the gifts they have been given and committed to using their talents to put their stamp on the world. Amelia Burke (C’16)

During commencement, we celebrated the achievements of twenty-three amazing young women. Head of School Ayanna Hill-Gill encouraged the Class of 2016 “to enjoy the magic of your next chapter as you have done at AGS.” She reminded the graduates that the experiences that they have had at AGS shaped them into confident, courageous, caring, creative, and clever leaders who will go on to change the world. Our keynote speaker, Shan Cooper, Chief Supply Chain and Technology Officer of WestRock said, “…Class of 2016, today you stand at the pinnacle of an extraordinary achievement. But I want to challenge you not to rest just yet, but to reach higher. There is so much more you have to offer the world!” Ania Jordan (C’16)

Remember, your gift inspires. Atlanta Girls’ School is an exceptional community, changes lives, and creates memories that will live forever in our hearts and minds. Sofia Broffman (C’16) and Jade Lockard (C’16).

Sincerely,
Atlanta Girls’ School
