AGS Students to Compete at the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair

On Thursday, January 30, a group of 18 AGS students presented their work at the Atlanta Regional Science and Engineering Fair. There were a total of 178 projects at the fair, representing work from middle and high school students from public, charter and private schools throughout the Atlanta area. The top 24 of these projects move on to compete at the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair at the University of Georgia on March 27 – 28.

We are excited to announce that four projects from AGS students qualified to move on to the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair! Ninth grader Bella Huang, eighth graders Abigail Cibik, Jasmine Smith, and Malak Desouky, and sixth graders Sydney Menzie and Sydney Killian are the first students from AGS to participate in the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair. We are so proud of their hard work and incredible accomplishment!
