Students Attend Political Engagement Breakfast

Students accompanied Mrs. Hill-Gill to the Atlanta Political Engagement Breakfast at GSU’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. They are pictured here with keynote speakers Stacey Abrams (House Minority Leader of the Georgia General Assembly) and Felicia Franklin Warner (Clayton County Commissioner). The event was sponsored by Ignite, “a national organization that was started to build political ambition when girls and young women are forming their identities and aspirations and to forestall the fact that, without a significant intervention, the United States won’t reach gender parity for at least another century.”  Students enjoyed getting to expand their interests in politics and spend time with Head of School, Mrs. Hill-Gill.
