AGS Sixth-Graders Host Ice Cream Social at Shepherd Center
The AGS sixth-graders hosted an ice cream social for patients and their families at the Shepherd Center on Tuesday, February 18, during their day off from school. They served a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings to patients and their families and learned about the importance of having such a leading medical facility available in Atlanta.
The Shepherd Center is a private, nonprofit hospital that specializes in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and other neuromuscular conditions.
