7th Grader Receives ABC Young Leaders Award

Taylor Miller ’22 is one of only a half-dozen middle school students nationwide to be awarded A Better Chance Young Leaders Award for 2017. This is Taylor’s second time receiving this award. The annual award is presented to middle school A Better Chance (ABC) Scholars who demonstrate academic excellence as well as leadership within their school communities. The award is presented to up to six ABC Scholars – two per grade – nationally. Each winner receives a gift of $250.

Taylor’s mother, Mary Stokes, commented, “Sam, Taylor, and I are grateful for the support you’ve provided in developing her academic curiosity and thirst for knowledge. We would like to thank you for your participation in providing needed recommendations and transcripts and allowing her to shine at Atlanta Girls’ School. It is said it takes a village to raise a child, and Sam and I consider you a part of our village.
