6th Grader Receives ABC Young Leaders Award

Taylor Miller ’22 is one of only a half-dozen middle school students nationwide to be awarded A Better Chance Young Leaders Award for 2016. The annual award is presented to middle school A Better Chance (ABC) Scholars who demonstrate academic excellence as well as leadership within their school community. The award is presented to up to six ABC Scholars – two per grade – nationally. Each winner receives a gift of $250.

Taylor’s parents, Sam Miller and Mary Stokes, commented, “We are so proud of the way Taylor has blossomed this year at AGS and recognize that 6th Grade Dean Billie Mear’s guidance for Taylor and all of the 6th grade girls is a key reason why. We are grateful for her leadership and partnership.”
