Students Meet Top Female Portfolio Managers

AGS students Youmna Almadani ’20 and Olivia Santos ’19 had the opportunity to attend An Afternoon with America’s Top Female Portfolio Managers on October 3. The event was presented by the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals. The event brought together some of the top-ranked female portfolio managers in the US, managing an array of investment strategies and investment professionals. During the moderated panel discussion, the moderator delved into each investor’s success equation, discussed their approach to constructing high performing teams, and tapped into their experience on how best to evolve process and portfolio management skills in the face of continual industry change. They also spent time discussing the unique perspectives that women bring to investment management teams and how diversity may increase your competitive advantage.
