Parts I’ll Never Play: A Genderbent Cabaret is an afternoon for Upper School students to express themselves, regardless of whether they are an active participant in the AGS theatre department or not. This entirely student-run production focuses on the aspects of Broadway musicals that, outside of AGS, would be off limits to our girls. In other words, over 20 girls will perform musical numbers that are traditionally performed by men. Students direct, students choreograph, students schedule, students do technical work, students are backstage, students perform, students do everything … except buy tickets – that’s up to you!
