Student Social Justice Art Showcase
On May 10th at 6:30 pm we will host the opening of our second annual student social justice art showcase, Awoken. I wanted to formally invite you, your students, and the AGS community to this program that celebrates the work of student artists across Atlanta.
It is an exhibition of student work from multiple Atlanta area schools focused on social justice. There will be free food, beverages, and access to the King gallery for attendees.
In addition to celebrating the works of these artists, we will also be hearing from Fabian Williams, creator of BLOOM ATL. Fabian will be joined by other local artists from across Atlanta in determining the best-in-show award for each of the six visual art media represented.
