Visual Arts Teacher

Atlanta Girls’ School (AGS), an independent school for girls in grades 6-12, was founded in 2000 and authentically lives its mission of Inspiring Girls to Lead Lives of Purpose. Atlanta Girls’ School provides a challenging college-preparatory program in a learning environment designed to foster the full potential of each student and enable her to become a vital contributor to global society.

All faculty members must hold a BFA degree and have 3-5 years of teaching experience. Master’s degree preferred but not required. Applicants should have demonstrated success in working effectively with students, parents, and colleagues and have a commitment to best practices in teaching and learning. Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, and creativity desired to join a highly relational and dedicated faculty. Experience teaching Visual Arts courses to students across grades 6-12 with specific experience teaching 2-D and 3D Design Foundations, Ceramics, and Analog Wet/Darkroom Photography.
