Parker Whidby

Parker Whidby joined Explore Georgia, the state’s official travel and tourism department, in 2015 as the Digital Content Specialist. 

She is the voice of @ExploreGeorgia and is responsible for managing Explore Georgia’s social media channels. This includes supervising the day-to-day operations, developing creative content, producing social campaigns and overseeing the Explore Georgia community of over 650,000 followers. Parker has more than seven years of experience in marketing, public relations, and event planning.

A native of Valdosta, Georgia, she holds a degree in Public Relations from Auburn University.
