Katy Weber has been teaching in a project-based learning charter school for seven years, focusing on her passions of Science and Mathematics. Katy earned her Masters in Education–Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she focused on engaging middle school students in problem-solving tasks. Katy loves adding art into STEM projects as her creative outlet includes crafting projects with her Cricut. Katy is a proud mom of two beautiful girls (Nora and Aubrey) who, with her husband, remain the light of her life.

During this session, spend time generating ways to engage students in critical analyses of social justice issues while teaching content standards.
