I choose Atlanta Girls’ School because the community is unique and special – it’s the place I would have wanted for my children during their school journeys.
A second-generation educator, Dr. Cydney Junius joined Atlanta Girls’ School after working as a classroom teacher, director of social emotional learning, and diversity, equity, and inclusion coordinator at both independent and charter school organizations. She is passionate about creating spaces of belonging and inclusiveness and believes all students are competent, possessing their own unique missions. Prior to her roles in education, Cydney worked in magazine and newspaper journalism, school communications, and considers herself lucky to have spent many years primarily caring for her three children.
