Barbara Uterhardt, “Mrs. U,” has spent the last decade at AGS teaching performing arts and developing after-school performance opportunities. She has worked on more than 100 productions with Atlanta theaters and is a five-time winner of the Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Award for acting in a play. In her classes, Ms. U loves to watch her students cultivate their performing skills, discover a love for designing, or reveal their talent at building. Barbara also has a passion for animals and worked as a veterinary assistant through high school and college.
