Ann J. Herrera

Ms. Herrera has practiced in the areas of fiduciary administration, probate, and estate litigation since 1983. Following a clerkship with the Probate Court of Fulton County, she joined D. Lynn Russell in founding Russell & Herrera in 1984. In addition to her practice with private clients, Ms. Herrera serves in numerous court-appointed roles such as conservator and estate administrator for Fulton and Dekalb County Probate Courts.

She frequently speaks on the subject of fiduciary and probate matters and is trained as a mediator and arbitrator in those areas. Ms. Herrera is a member of the American Bar Association, and Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She also served as a Municipal Judge in the City of Decatur and has served on various other professional and community boards.

She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh and undergraduate education at Bryn Mawr College. Ms. Herrera has been named as a Super Lawyer and is rated as AV (Preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbell.

Her daughter Lia is an AGS graduate of the class of 2018.
