I choose Atlanta Girls’ School because the students and my co-workers make this place teacher heaven.

A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Amber is also a published author of historical fiction (writing as Amber Brock). Her novels are A Fine Imitation (Crown, 2016) and Lady Be Good (Crown, 2018). She is a passionate student of history, an avid traveler, and “mom” to rescue dogs. She lives with her husband, a fellow English teacher, in Smyrna. She is also training for a marathon!
