Research confirms that girls who attend single-gender schools achieve an edge in the real world. As Atlanta’s only all-girls’ independent school for grades 6 through 12, we look forward to your visit!

Discovering AGS is an exciting process.

We invite girls and families exploring any grade to make a visit to our campus for a tour, join us for Open House or a Discover AGS event, and schedule a not-to-be-missed Shadow Day experience.

Our Admission team is dedicated to helping you learn what makes AGS the right fit for your daughter and family, guiding you through our admission process and answering all your questions along the way.

Visiting Options

Discover AGS Parent Information Sessions
When attending a Discover AGS session, parents will have the opportunity to meet with the Leadership and Admission teams, hear from current faculty and parents about their AGS experiences, and participate in a student-led tour of the campus. We also offer remote webinar sessions for those families unable to visit campus. Click on your preferred date option below to RSVP for an upcoming session.

Private Family Tours
Guided by a student or current parent ambassador, families visit classrooms, tour the campus, and meet faculty and staff.

To schedule your shadow visit, please email or call the Office of Admission at 404-604-2810.

Student Shadow Days
AGS welcomes girls in grades 5 and above to spend time on campus with a host student. It’s the best way to experience all that is AGS! This time allows prospective students to experience different classes, attend an advisory session, join the grade level for EDLS or a Class Meeting, and enjoy lunch with a student ambassador. To schedule your shadow visit, please email or call the Office of Admission at 404-604-2810.

Fall Admission Open House
Sunday, November 11, 1 to 3 pm
If you missed this fall event, please register for one of our Discover AGS sessions. These are a great introduction to AGS and our programs. Students and parents are invited to the most comprehensive look at AGS and how we carry out our mission: Inspiring Girls to Lead Lives of Purpose

The Open House program begins at 1 pm with an informative student panel discussion, followed by faculty demonstrations for parents and students that introduce the school’s curriculum and interdisciplinary STEAM initiative. You will also learn about the service and leadership opportunities at all grade levels, as well as the signature programs offered in the Middle and Upper School.
