Research confirms that girls who attend single-gender schools achieve an edge in the real world. As Atlanta’s only all-girls’ independent school for grades 6 through 12, we look forward to your visit!

Discovering AGS is an exciting process.

We invite girls and families exploring any grade to make a visit to our campus for a tour, our Open House, and any of our Discover AGS events. We also encourage you to schedule a not-to-be-missed Shadow Day experience.

Our Admission team is dedicated to helping you learn what makes AGS the right fit for your daughter and family, guiding you through our admission process and answering all your questions along the way.

Visiting Options

AGS is currently in Hybrid Learning – leveraging both in-person learning on campus and distance learning simultaneously.  At this time, we are not able to host visitors on our campus, but invite you to schedule a virtual experience with us.

Discover AGS Info Sessions (Virtual)

These events are specifically geared to families looking to kickstart the discovery process about AGS in anticipation of the 2020-2021 admission season. Parents and students are invited to virtually meet with current parents, faculty, and staff, to learn about the benefits of an all-girls education at AGS. (Please make your reservation using your Ravenna account)

Student Shadow Day

AGS welcomes girls in grades 5 and above to register for a Virtual Student Shadow Day. Visits will include participation in 2 class periods, community time, as well as an opportunity to meet with current students.

Shadow visits are available from October through February. Please contact Susie Davis to schedule your visit: sudavis@atlantagirlsschool.org

Open House (TBD)

AGS is closely monitoring current health recommendations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our small size allows us to be nimble, flexible, and creative as we make every attempt to have prospective students and their families on campus. We want to meet the needs of our visitors while keeping their safety and well-being our priority.

Please call the admission office at 404-845-0900 for the latest information regarding our on-campus events.
